The PVS800 central inverter offers high total efficiency in a compact and easy-to-maintain design. The high maximum efficiency of 98.8%, with high efficiency at partial loads gives a European Efficiency of 98.6%. ABB’s Ultra series central inverter is a liquid-cooled, high-powered outdoor inverter in a compact chassis giving maximum power for minimum footprint. Power conversion efficiencies of up to 98.7%, combined with high-speed Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) channels optimize energy harvesting across a wide array of operating conditions. Up to four independent MPPT input channels offer maximum flexibility and energy harvesting. This large inverter system significantly reduces the wiring requirements and on-site testing, thanks to the presence of separated and dedicated compartments for DC and AC. Ultra central inverters are available from 700 kW to 1,500 kW.
